Stuffed full of fantastic characters with memorable catchphrases at breakneck speed, The Fast Show was soon established as essential viewing. Almost unbelievably, this second series introduced even more instantly popular figures ....which was nice....

The third series of The Fast Show introduced us to - among others - Swiss Toni, Dave Angel Eco-Warrior, Squeamish Zoo Keeper, Checkout Girl, Roger Nouveau Football Fan and Archie "hardest game in the world". They joined the breakneck comedy parade alongside such favourites as Ted and Ralph, Ron Manager, Rowley Birkin and the Suit You Tailors. Brilliant!

Recorded live at London's Hammersmith Apollo in 1998, The Fast Show Live features all of the original cast of the highly successful sketch series (Caroline Aherne excepted) including Paul Whitehouse, Simon Day, Charlie Higson and Arabella Weir and practically all of their myriad characters and catchphrases. This live show effectively marks a last hurrah for The Fast Show team, with routines like the Coughing Bob Fleming singalong reworked from the series. However, as a feat of inventive stage management and quick costume changing, they do manage to maintain the Fastness of the TV series live.

After three acclaimed TV series and tons of sell-out performances, the Fast Show team took their final bow, live on stage in November 2002. It’s time for the ‘Suit You’ tailors to measure their last inside leg, for someone to wake up Rowley Birkin QC, for Ron Manager to join the great experts panel in the sky and for Ted and Ralph to walk into the sunset. But before they do, catch one last Fast Show live performance. All the old favourites are back with familiar and brand new routines. And between sketches there’s a chance to witness the Fast Show team between costume changes, exchanging banter on the coach and a chance to say, if not goodbye, then "Boutros-Boutros Ghali".
