Little Britain

As Little Britain goes American, there`s old favourites and hilarious new characters in bucket-sized portions.

Little Britain ventures across the ocean taking some of its favourite sons and daughters along for the ride as Vicky Pollard, Bubbles Devere, Carol Beer, Sebastian Love, Daffyd Thomas, Andy and Lou and Marjorie Dawes all find themselves in strangely familiar situations in totally new locations.

They`re joined by a host of brilliant new American cousins including gym buddies Mark and Tom; Ellie Grace, a beauty pageant hopeful with the mouth of a truck driver; Phyllis, who is powerless to ignore suggestions from the manipulative and dangerous Mr. Doggy; Bing Gordyn, the eighth astronaut to go to the moon and many, many more.

Take a journey round Little Britain and meet all your favourite characters including juvenile delinquent Vicky Pollard (`No but yeah but no`), Daffyd Thomas, who claims to be the only gay in his village, Sebastian Love, the government aide with a mad crush on the Prime Minister, evil Fatfighters course leader Marjorie Dawes, rubbish transvestite Emily Howard (`I`m a lady!`) and, of course, put-upon helper Lou and his wheelchair-bound friend Andy - but does he really need the wheelchair at all?

Vicky Pollard, Emily Howard, Dafydd Thomas, Sebastian Love, Marjorie Dawes and Lou and Andy all return in this, the second series of Little Britain. They are joined by a host of new characters, "Bubbles" De Vere, Carol "Computer Says No" Beer, Judy and Maggie, and Harvey "Bitty" Pincher who has an unusually strong attachment to his mother.

This double BAFTA award-winning show is written by and stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and features Anthony Head, Geraldine James, Ruth Madoc, the voice of Tom Baker, original music by David Arnold, and Vanessa Feltz being spat on.

The third series of the multi award-winning show welcomes back old friends in Vicky Pollard, Lou and Andy, Sebastian and Michael, Florence and Emily as well as Dafydd, Carol and Anne. New faces include family man Sir Norman Fry, Dudley and his Thai bride Ting Tong, sweet old lady Mrs Emery and Bubbles` ex-husband Roman De Vere and his new wife, ex-Olympic gymnast Desiree.

Little Britain is written by and stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams with guest appearances by Richard and Judy, Imelda Staunton, Rob Brydon, David Baddiel, Ruth Madoc and Derek Martin. Narration is by Tom Baker and original music is by David Arnold.

After three award-winning television series, Matt Lucas and David Walliams took Little Britain on the road. On the biggest comedy tour ever, they played over 200 sell-out shows to nearly a million people, receiving rapturous acclaim from both the press and the public.
The Triumphant tour culminated with this amazing performance at the Blackpool Opera House in May 2006. The show welcomed the return of guest stars Anthony Head and Ruth Jones and featured all the favourite characters including Lou and Andy, Vicky Pollard, Marjorie Dawes, Dafydd, Carol, Sebastian and Michael, and many, many more.
