Dr. Martin Ellingham (Martin Clunes, MEN BEHAVING BADLY) is a surgeon with a difference: he can't sand the sight of blood! You'd think this would force him to reconsider his vocation in life, but no; he's quite content acting as the sole physician of a sleepy Cornish village. But it's his abrasive bedside manner--rather than his haemophobia--that puts him at odds with the eccentric townsfolk and gives rise to many humourously awkward situations. Full length feature entertaining episode of Doc Martin with all the usual skill and quality that we have seen in each series.With a little extra. Fantastic guest cast. Quality acting as per usual from the regulars. I must add that I was pleased to see Chris O'Dowd doing his Manic turn.Kenneth Cranham is one of the best character actors around, playing Caroline Catz's Dad. The film was well paced and the laughs came when needed. Understated and even though I knew what was coming, it still made me laugh.

Doc Martin: Series One stars Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly, William and Mary, Goodbye, Mr Chips) as Doctor Martin Ellingham, a celebrated London surgeon who turns his back on city life and moves to a sleepy Cornish village to become the local doctor. Despite his surgical brilliance, Doc Martin has no interpersonal skills and his bedside manner soon starts to upset his new patients, causing havoc throughout the village! As the community becomes united in horror at their foul new GP, the good doctor soon finds he needs all the allies he can get as he tries to negotiate his way around village life with hilarious consequences!

Martin Clunes is joined by a prestigious cast including Stephanie Cole (Waiting for God, Tenko), Caroline Catz (Murder in Suburbia, The Vice), Ian McNeice (Ace Ventura, A Life Less Ordinary), Joe Absolom (POW, Eastenders), Lucy Punch (Being Julia, Midsomer Murders) and Felicity Montagu (I`m Alan Partridge) as the colourful and loveable locals of Portwenn.

Martin Clunes is back as the curmudgeonly Dr. Martin Ellingham, whose truculent and tactless manner causes mayhem in the small Cornish community of Port Wenn.

Series 2 follows the surly doctor as he continues to negotiate his way around village life.

Back to help, and sometimes hinder, are Aunt Joan, Bert and Al Large, the local plumbers, local bobby PC Mark Mylow and school teacher Louisa Glasson, who`s no clearer about her feelings for Doc Martin that she was when she first met him!
